that's way overpriced, not surprising though, mazdatrix has coils for 29.53. each. I got my sparkplugs from sparkplugs.com and they were 19.95 ea. for ngk iridium, for the denso iridium it's 35.95 ea. And while your at it may as well change the wires to. you can get them from 50-90 depending where you get them.

And they are much easier to do than a wrx's plugs and coils.

There are DIYs on this website for both plugs and coils. It's an easy job, just take your time.

And you can get factory coils for like $25-30 a piece. And plugs will run you like another ~$90 total, off the top of my head.

Coils 26.95 Each.times that by 4. if you buy more than 10 dollars from them you get a free oil filter, talk to Tommy and you might be able to get more than 1 oil filters for free

http://www.finishlineperformance.com...cat=273&page=1

Next, Plugs, Well, if u have the time and patience, you can get all 4 plugs for around 70 something bux. but if you're lazy, just get all 4 at Sparkplugs.com for about 85 dollars shipped.

If you can still *move* your car than yes, you should tell your dealership to STOP *replacing it*, you can even tell them straight up that they're trying to rip you off. If they start giving you BS like *oh other dealership might charge even more* print a copy of Tommy's web site and tell them they're official Mazda dealership too, 27 bux per coil and 110 bux for all Mazda plugs, if you buy all from Tommy you probably can get Free shipping AND free oil filter for 217.95

Next I know is they gonna bring up BS about labor hours, yeah, sure. tell them that I can blindfold myself and still be able to replace the coils and plugs. So how diffcult would it be ? 2 hours tops. (I can do it in less than an hour for both)

Maybe its time for you to place the order for your coils and plugs !

Talk to Tommy @ Finish line or Jason @ OnlineMazdaparts. They both can probably cut you a good deal on parts.

2. I used to have a wrx adn hated it .... its ugly and you could die if you hot a small bump going around a corner.
3. high flow cat, hks ign thing, get aftermarket coild, new plugs, maybee a greddy turbo ............. I mean if your willing to waste 800 to a dealer . whats 6k? hahaha

just kidding. the bad coils probly caused alot of other problems.

i fixed it at my local shop for almost $400 dollars, which is half the price dealer ask me for. and now my cat is going bad, but im not really tripping over it, ill just get a test pipe for it when the cat fails.

lol i don't get what you mean by if you hot a small bump going around corner? lol but my wrx handles really good after i lower it. i still love that car. my next car is probably going to be a STI.
