God forbid you have Aftermarket wheels because those 'aftermarket' lugnuts must SURELY be more-difficult to remove than stock!

Alright, EVEN IF they did have to remove the coilovers, I installed a FULL SET of Koni's and S-Techs on a friend's car (NEVER having done this before) in under that amount of time.
Give me a lift, and more tools, and I guarantee you I can uninstall / reinstall front coilovers in UNDER 90 minutes.

"Drop the front suspension"...
However - to that end, the only bolts required to be removed are those at the top of the strut - which typically are OEM nuts re-used...except now they bolt to the coil-overs, NOT the OEM shocks, etc.
It's complete BULLSHIT - seriously. There are pics somewhere on the forum where a guy took pics of his car during the warranty-engine swap. IIRC, the OEM shocks/struts are just sitting upright in the air; still attached at the bottom.

The FSM says to do it that way.
It is not only unnecessary, it is way more difficult - lift or not - than just pulling it out the top like a normal car.
It also requires that you do a wheel alignment when you are done.
