besides the suspension mods it has a k&n intake, sr high flow cat and midpipe and a tanabe catback. the first 4th gear pull did 171hp, the one on the chart is after heat soak, hopefully my turbo kit will be here soon and i can see the improvements.

Go Texas Longhorns!
Are you sure these A/F numbers are correct? I just can't see how you get worse mileage than my stock rx8 with that lean of a run
anyone else want to chime in on this?

wow, are you sure 5th gear is the 1-1 gear, that seems a lil high and a lot of load. and yeah the o2's are correct, of course most of my driving around town is in 2nd gear and in the powerband. what mods did the guy who put down 206hp have?was he force induced?

The guy who put down a 206whp run was 100% stock. 2004 RX8, GT, 15K miles.

...All of our Manual Transmission cars have the same drivetrain loss - the issue is, our engines are in different states of tune. Frankly, 200whp based on 238 flywheel HP is acceptable; If I could get a solid 200whp I'd feel like I got all of the 238 horses I paid for.

It appears they are not. Everyone who dyno'd at my event w/ an RX8 hit 150mph in 5th.
Btw - how many miles on your car?
Today the service guy told me he spoke to a mazda rep about the difference in HP - he suggested it'll take 10K miles or so, before the engine seals 'seat' or something...and that's the cause...until then, the car isn't running at full compression.
who knows?
