is my engine on its way out ?

i am new to owning my 8 and when i got it i swear that around 6k rpm the engine would start to pull harder , just recently i noticed that it dosent feel like it does anymore the engine seams to run ok . but i am wondering if perhaps it might be a symptom of whats to come . i spent some time searching but couldnt find anything that would help .

do you know if recalls were performed?

suggestions for you:
check the spark plugs. (left front left of car, insert jack stand, take off wheel, straigh ahead are the plugs)
If necessary, replace accordingly
Check the ignition coils. http://www.finishlineperformance.com...16-07-1793.pdf

Check the air filter, make sure it's not all clogged up.

Any other mods on the car?

sometimes the power can be a bit finicky, like if you drive slow all the time then suddenly drive it hard, it won't feel that fast. But if you had been flogging the car the previous day, then the next morning car feels really strong. That's how it's been in my experience. So I drive my car hard all the time

I think your just getting used to the car that's all. As long as everything is working I wouldn't trip. Search and read all you can, this car has to be babied as far a maintenence, but while driving you need to smack it around a bit and it will reward you.
