You know these fools are doing what they did to you to every person that comes in there? I know you already told them you wouldn't tell the insurance company, but if I were you, and if they were to mess up again, I WOULD tell the insurance company. A business like that shouldn't be open to the public. Some dangerous stuff happens when you cut corners with car repairs, especially on a sports car.

Once all the repairs are done to my satisfaction I am so doing to dime on them. Of course I don't want this happening to other people but I just want my repairs done with as little red tape as possible. So once they are done BAM its go time

And while the lawyers descend on sketchy land you go to a decent body shop to fix what they didn't.

when you sue, make sure that you are properly compensated for your lost time and effort and emotional distress. Why, I'm sure this repair job has given you chest pains right?

********************UPDATE***********************

Here is the list of repairs they have done so far when I checked out the car yesterday.

1. Aligning Drivers side door which was causing alot of rattle when the door was being closed.

UPDATE: They have Aligned the door and when I sat inside the rattle had disappeared.

2. Replacing Drivers side Seat belt because it was catching and not allowing me to open the back door properly.

UPDATE: They claim the seat belt is out of stock from Mazda but they have ordered me a new one.

3. Right Tail Light

UPDATE: It has been replaced and I have been given two new gaskets on top of the new ones ordered as a good measure.

4. Trunk Carpet

UPDATE: Has been fully replaced and they are shampooing the whole car to get rid of the smell. Thank god because I really did not want to clean that thing with Hydrogen Peroxide, I would rather drink a beer and watch someone else do it.

5. Plastic Clips

UPDATE: Have NOT been replaced but I did bring it to there attention that half of them were missing and the ones there were broken.

6. Rear Bumper

UPDATE: Has Been perfectly aligned and I can not see those over spray bubbles on it anymore.

7. Removal of Over spray.

UPDATE: Has not been done and I forgot to bring it up the day I went. If he doesn't do it I guess I can just do it myself (it will be a bitch) I will most likely call them on Monday to remind them of the over spray.

Talking Mold in a car?

4. Trunk Carpet

UPDATE: Has been fully replaced and they are shampooing the whole car to get rid of the smell. Thank god because I really did not want to clean that thing with Hydrogen Peroxide, I would rather drink a beer and watch someone else do it.

My sister "totaled her car" by driving in the rain, stopping in a huge puddle (it stalled) and opening the door to get out.

The insurance agent took one look at the wet, half filled with water car and pretty much wrote her a check.

Mold is not a joke to any insurance company, it can kill you. (and that would cost them)

Since this mold was due to a sub-standard repair.........

I'd be taking *** and kicking names. Definitely talk to your insurance company about this. There is no excuse for this kind of ****.

Some bad news, even after I had told them to be careful with the warming up of my car before turning it off for short drives they have managed to yet once again flood my ******* engine. I am so choked I am beyond belief in how stupid this place is, I told them SPECIFICALLY before I left for them not to flood my engine again, I even made a effing print out for them with some preventative measures to not flood the engine. I still don't get how I have owned the car for 4 years and have never managed to flood the engine once. What ******* ******** I am so close to go ape **** on them.

oh **** .... damn man.

I feel ya pain man.

****, what they gonna do now ? tow ur car or attempt to start it ? If they have some battery or power source around, tell them to keep cranking (or at least crank a little longer), it might be able to start it. if they kill the starter tell them to give you a new one

Worst part is that it's an auto...so the pull start option isn't available.....they/you are going to have to do it the hard way

They lost my Jackstand and the tools that go with it they are willing to reimburse me for it but I have to go and buy it.

The seatbelt has not been replaced because they claim they went to a local Mazda dealership and the back door catches when you pull it fast. I went to a Mazda dealership found a used 04, took a video of it and it did not catch once regardless of how fast I pulled it, that is how my car was. But the weird thing was the RX-8 in the show room which was a '07 did catch when I pulled it which I thought was really stupid because you had to pull it so slow for the door not to catch. But mine never did it before so I am trying to get them to replace it but they are being homos about that.

The Right tail light has not been replaced it fogged up already the left one has not fogged up since I took it apart and dried it so that is good. I am just going to buy a new Right tail light from MazMart and get the AutoBody shop to reimburse me.

The car smells great by the way it smells better then what it was when it was new.

I am getting a CEL but I have already posted about that in the Tech issues, I am going to see how I can get this to be fixed.

Well lets see, I am going to order the Tail Light hopefully by tomorrow and I am also going to get Paul to ship me out that Jack Stand ASAP. The CEL light I will take a look at this weekend with Dannobre (hopefully if he picks up his phone but I think he was going out of town)

I am hoping I will have the car Fully done by March 1st then the FI goes in May 1st as long as I have no money problems.
