Need help diagnosing my problem - rough idle lead to stall

Ok guys, I posted on here a month or so ago with a problem I had. Took it to the dealership then, they couldnt find an issue. Tech said it could have been a blockage in the cat and then it dispursed.

Anyways, had the same issue again yesterday. Was on my way golfing when I had to stop at a stop sign. Started idling rough, then went to start moving and it barely crawled, then stalled. Started up again with some difficulty, let it idle, stalled. Waited about 1 minute, started up again, stalled. Had to get it towed to the dealership.

Had them do a compression test, i just spoke to the guy and said engine was good. He is going to give me the numbers which I will post on here. They cant find ANYTHING wrong with it apparently. No CEL, no misfire codes, nothing.

My thought was for sure my engine was going, but according to them, everything was fine. Another RX8 enthusiast I met told me to tell them to look at a grounding screw, which I mentioned to them, and apparently that checks out also.

Right now, my car is becoming unreliable to me because this problem keeps popping up, and it looks like either no one here in my local Mazda dealership knows anything about the RX8 or they are clueless. I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

My engine is apparently good, so thats good news and I dont want to give up on my 8, I love it to death and it only has 55K's on it.

OK, another thought popped in my mind. Could it be a transmission problem? Reason I ask is that sometimes it takes a couple tries to get my stick in first gear. And the crawling sensation when I started accelerating felt alot like I was trying to go in third gear. Is it possible that the transmission could be the issue?
