Need A new Cat Converter

So I took the 8 in and they ran the code, said I need a new Cat converter and its going to run me about 2,000$. I was looking online and found this converter

http://www.converterwarehouse.com/ca...oductID=258999

and was wondering if it would do the trick? If not what is my best bet when it comes to buying a new converter. Also when I took it in they said there were 2 different ones, one with a VIN:3 and VIN:N. Didn't really understand that but if you guys could help me out that would be great.

My 8 is an 2004 with 148,XXX KM's on it.

If you want genuine, Onlinemazdaparts.com have them for $1077.00. You can pick up an after market Cat for under $300.00 and weld it in yourself or have a muffler shop do it.

Try rockauto.com. They've got a converter for under $300. Looks like a bolt-in replacement, not a weld-in modification.
