Need new engine

ok engine is gone need to buy a new one its an 04 manuel, dealer will charged me 3,000 for a new one without labor. does anyone know if our vendors will sell one brand new or reman, for cheaper. thanks

well over 111,xxx

bought it with 79,xxx 2 years ago with its 3rd new engine. this with be the cars 4th and my first. i call it the rotor eater!

3000 for a new one? your dealership is loaded with idiots.

tell them if its 3K each brand new I buy 10 of them right now. I will send a truck over and load them all in myself.

and you, if u think thats expensive. you need to sell your car and get a Civic.

I just had a motor built to detailed specifications for not much more than that with labor.

thats wat i said i was amazed at how cheap it was, i bought a brand new trans for my car at the same mazda dealer for 1300 retail is 2800 or somthing i think the parts lady has a crush on me cuz shes always flirting with me, but she gave me a est brand new engine 3000 and i get 1000 back for my core so 2000 but i have one of the guys on this fourm is going to build mine with a street port and cooling mods. and forget civics rotarys will do circles around them all day lol

I strongly doubt she gave u 3K "brand new", at most is a reman and Im fairly sure Mazda's Reman cost more than that. (if she is the owner of the dealership, wanna get laid with u + don't mind taking a lost then yea its very possible)

well, if its 2K I say just do it at the dealership.

shes the parts manager. i called her today its going to be 1,800 for a reman, not including the core. but it takes 10 days to build and ship. they build per order. ill take a pic of the recipt when i buy it

like I said, it won't be possible for a 3K new engine UNLESS she is willing to take a loss.

1.8K for reman not including core? ok. lets see how this goes. make sure its a "real" Mazda reman tho.

Wow thats great how nice of Mazda. Is there another company that would do that for you? We see they are committed and I am too. What all did you add to it, clutch, plugs, etc?

In the pic? thats how it came just out the plastic container like that

i have a brand new light flywheel from sr motorsports and there best clutch

spark plugs are reg trailing and the updated hot start plugs leading

racing beat steel oil lines racing beat true full exhaust headers cat delet rev 8

i will paint the engine black and blue

thats pretty much it from wat i can remember

ANY RECOMENDATIONS?

whoops forgot to mention that i just put coils on the old motor that blew up new coils it blew up with-in 500 miles so ill be reusing them. the wires on the other hand are from mazdatrix the blue wires there with-in 1 year old
