Two days ago my car didnt wanna start in the morning so i call my mechanic he came over, and he removed the fuel pump fuse and then he started my car and then he started talking how these are the best engines made and said the only problem on them is they loose compression (is this true) im not sure or was my engine flooded??

And the other thing is my CEL came on, and last night i floored it in 3rd gear up to 7k rpm my CEL started flashing, anybody know what that could be from ???

my car is 2004 with about 45K miles on it

These motors lose compression over time, but motor doesn't. Your engine was flooded, that's why he pulled the pump fuze and turned the car over. As for the CEL, it was most likely flashing cuz it had a high speed misfire. You said your car has 45k on it, you probably need to replace your plugs and coils to remedy the misfires. Have the code pulled at Autozone.

It should be a random misfire code, if it is you know what you need to do.

i went to auto zone and yea it was a misfire code

where can i get some coils and spark plugs in auto zone they want like $90 just for the main coil

and i got another question

i got my act clutch installed about 2 months ago, and everytime i start of in 1st gear i hear a little squeling sound, and also when im in 6th gear around 2500 rpms theres alot of noise coming from the transmission (i think its from the transmission)

my mechanic said there might be some water inside there or something else and said its gone go away by the time the roads clean up, ( is this a throw out bearing)
