need some help - Question for Sandwich plate and water sensor adapter ?

Hey guys ~

After doing some research on the Internet and the forum I just want to know and confirm rather the following is whats needed for oil pressure / temp + water temp

M20x1.5 thread size sandwich plate, but what O ring size ? and I also heard we need a thin type sandwich plate as our oil filter location is tight to squeeze another thing in that will lift the filter up more pushing against the firewall.. anyway.. anyone that knows the exact specification of the sandwich plate that would be great.... also pls dont direct me to the RB one.. as I need to get one very soon.. so cant wait for freight T_T

Water sensor adapter.. as far as I know... our hose is 34mm ? if anyone can confirm this.. that would be great.. thanks ~

regards

Yes. M20xP1.5 For the Oil filter sandwich

For the water adapter, I think is 34mm not 100% sure. I have 1 installed but I cant find my receipt atm.

Oh for the oil filter adapter, if you're talking about Greddy universial one. you should use the *shorter* head instead of the longer one. You'll know what I mean. If you use the longer one you're going to get some stupid leak.

thanks for the reply guys but for the sandwich plate does that M20xP1.5 thread size already include / mention the O ring size ?

TYPE O-RING CENTOR BOLT PITCH SENSOR LOCATION PRICE CODE

Standard Type ×2 56φ/65φ 3/4-16UNF、M20×P1.5 1/8PT×2 M12×P1.25×1 ¥6,800
E Type ×2 72φ/76φ M24×P1.5 1/8PT×3 M12×P1.25×1 ¥8,600 12002736
F Type ×2 72φ/76φ M26×P1.5 1/8PT×3 M12×P1.25×1 ¥8,600 12002737
G Type ×2 72φ/76φ 1-12UNF 1/8PT×3 M12×P1.25×1 ¥8,600 12002738
For FD3S Type ONLY 60φ×2 ※1 1/8PT×2 Plug bolts included ¥6,800 12044000

looking at that .. does that mean M20 x P1.5 = 65 mm O ring size.. ?

You're talking about Greddy/Trust right ?

Im 99% sure you can use the FD type filter. I never tried it myself but as far as I know all 13B engines use the same oil filter size. and the oil filter location is the same (Firewall is a bit different, but there shouldnt be a fitting problem.)

The Universal one comes with 2 oil filter bot and 2 O-rings. You can just use the smaller o ring with the short Bolt then it should not leak.

I switched to Anniversary because I think I accidently Broke the O-ring and I cant get a replacement ...

Digging up an old thread but I would like to know more about this filter pushing against firewall:
Does this mean I can't use the 28mm/1.1inch adapter with the original oil filter?
What are the maximum dimensions of the sandwich plate and filter? (RX-8 2006)
