Smile New 8 Owner here...

Hey i am picking up a 2004 rx8 with manual transmission this weekend.

i am brand new to rotary engines (i have been reading threads for the past couple weeks anticipating the delivery so i know the basics)

i have no idea how the previous owner treated the car, it has 30k miles on it.

can you give me some suggestions on what to do when i get the car...
should i change trans fluid...run some seafoam...change the oil...go drive like its stolen (i see alot of people describe it this way on the site)... or what?

any advice will be appreciated

Before I buy it I would take the VIN Number to the local Mazda dealer and have them check for warranty repairs and any service records.
