new clutch/how to adjust?
#3
The attachment below shows the adjustment rod:
Loosen the nut (marked as C) and turn the push rod inward (marked as D).
You should have 1/4-1/2" pedal free play between the push rod and master clutch cylinder.
Also ensure the clutch pedal distance is even with the brake pedal.
If not, you'll need to adjust the stroke distance too.

Also - as odd as it sounds, the easiest way to get under there to work is to lay on your back on the driver's seat with your legs hanging out the door, and year head just next to the brake pedal. Always easier to flex forward than backwards....if you can stand the blood rushing to your head!

^+1... and I always remove the foot rest for extra room.
But once you do it a couple times, you can then do it by feel without handing upside-down.

The larger nut uses a 12mm the smaller one is 10mm, just as Jon316G suggested, you could just feel for the nut and loosen it. I found it easier with the open the door and sitting down on the door panel.

Sorry to thread jack. But how do you adjust the stroke? I welded my clutch bracket long ago and now my clutch pedal is a little higher than my brake. I had to add a spacer for the plunger to start my car.
