New engine but vibration still exists
Hey guys, I'm not sure if any of you remember but I posted a few weeks ago about vibration and loss of power that I was experiencing. Well, long story short, I took the car to the dealer and got a brand new engine.
When I was driving it home after the transplant, I still noticed a slight vibration coming from, what seemed to be, the back of the car. I'm now starting to think I need to clean out the CAT. What do you guys think?

I would take it back to the dealer and describe the condition to them including at what speed it occurs and whether accelerating or decelerating.
There are a few known causes of vibrations on these cars that Mazda has Bulletins regarding, including transmission related causes.
Best of luck and don't attempt to "clean out your cat"![Yelrotflmao Vi](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao-vi.gif)
