Quick question.. Has anyone upgraded their ignition system? What is the difference between aftermarket ingnition coils and modules?

So, I picked up my third set of coils today and installed them. I still have the original 2 sets.

First set was 3xxx numbers. Second set (the upgraded coils) was 7xxx numbers. New ones I got today are 8xxx.

Have done a grounding kit

Changed to 10mm leads

Installed a HKS DL-II amplifier

Mines an 03-model & showing no signs of coil damage.

How does it drive....?

Wow. More responsive, more power, more fuel economy.

Figure that if the "Bum-in-seat" dyno can feel it. Then its got to be around 5KW++
