New Transmission!!!! WooT
Yea so i went to the dealership hoping they could fix my car because soemthing was wrong with the transmission. After WAITING for 5 HOURS (i'm not 21 couldnt get a loaner car) they still couldnt fix the problem. so then they told me they tried calling the mazda dept and see what they want to do with my car. the line was busy and the guy just told me to leave and he'll call me back. The response was that i get a new transmission! YAY! i also went in for brake pads because they squeel, its even worse now but i didnt tell them that i'll tell them that when i bring my car in next time =( this is the 2nd time i brought it in for the brake noise. its gonna be the 3rd the next time i bring it, i hope they fix it GRRRRRRRR
btw this is what was wrong with my transmission:
When i slow down the vehicle considerably but not coming to a full stop at that point when i accelerate it causes a jump/jerk from the transmission.
am i the only one with this problem? i dont think i've ever read about it.

Just curious: which dealer in NJ is that? Just so that I'll try avoid them myself Sansone Rt.1 Automall is on my list, joined by Maxon Mazda. So far, only Wayne Mazda seems serious and correct.

ZOOM44: hmm... not everytime it really depends on how much i accelerate. put it this way, imagine rolling in 3rd gear and then revving it up to like 6k rpms and then you shift to 4th, its that jerking feeling. if i dont accelerate then it wont jerk. Dont get me wrong, i mean i'm not tryign to do it on purpose but theres only so much you could do to get your car to stop doing wutever it does. i figured i gotta fix it soon because this is gonna be my car forever. and yes it jumps in sports mode.
BXB40: the dealership was open road mazda in edison, its not bad, dont get me wrong, it just sucked waiting for 5 hours because they had a lot of stuff to do with my car. i got the oil change, they had to resurface my rotors and do my brake pads, and they had to test drive my car multiple times to figure out the problem of my transmission. the brake pads arent all that serious to me, i was mainly concerned with my transmission but yea other than that open road mazda is alright

Screw gas mileage
I see you're in Jersey...what dealer is this...it sounds like they are actually not trying to screw you
Haven't had my car in for any kind of service yet but i'm trying to find one that doesn't suck
