No radio, key FOB after breakdown, HELP!
hey all, so i ended up breaking down due to a bad ignition coil. replaced all coils, plugs and wires just to be safe but now my radio wont turn on, my key fob doesnt work and i have a check engine light on but no code reader recognizes that it is connected to my car. while i was replacing the plug wires i noticed the conduit on the cable in the picture had fallen to pieces, can someone tell me what purpose it serves? thanks!
*note* that is not a picture of my car, just for demonstration

That's the main power from the alternator to the battery....make sure it doesn't touch a ground!
Also check it's connected tight - you won't have anything work if it's loose.
Check the 'room' fuse under dash.

wire is tight, fuses are good but i still dont have a working radio/key fob. AC works and i can switch through AC modes so i feel like the radio should be working. really frustrating...

UPDATE: after replacing the room fuse the check engine light turned off but the airbag light continues to blink at me. the room fuse still blows when the car is completely off, went on a 2 hour drive yesterday and the fuse held with no problem but it blew 30 minutes after turning the car off. all 4 airbag clips are firmly connected under the seats. any thoughts? i've already checked the visors too.
