Noob with reliability questions
Hi everybody!!, Doing some new car shopping, thinking of an RX8 but I am seeing some posts with regard to reliability issues and was wondering if someone could summarize for me what risk i might be taking in jumping into a new RX 8.
Car I am looking at is a 2006 (new) GT manual, no nav. (Canada)
These forums tend to squew wheather or not there is a reliability issue with these cars and cars in general so my questions are;
1.) Is there a reliablity problem with these engines, specifically 2005-06 build dates.
2.) Are there transmission problems with the manual transmissions.
3.) Are there other mechanical issues I should be aware of ?? before taking possesion specifically T.S.B.s that should be applied.
4.) If so 1,2,3, what type of factory warranty would you suggest, if any.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

1. no
2. no

4. Not sure what you mean. There is only one kind of factory warranty. Extended plans are usually underwritten by someone else. I never saw the need for an extended warranty. take care of the car and it will take of you.
