Not sure what this is, need help at work fast!!!!!

Hey guys, as most of you know Im a salesman, we just took in an 04 sport AT on trade. While doing the inspection the tech took the 8 out for a spin then when he returned, the car has yet to start. I have searched but I am still not sure what this is so heres the symptoms:
When attempting to start, the starter sounds and the engine cranks but it doesnt sound normal.... Its not too abnormal but it doesnt sound like its cranking although the belts move when attempting to start it. There is no visible damage AT ALL, the engine literally looks showroom new and it hasnt even been detailed yet. It just cranks and cranks without starting, and yes it has gas. The tech said that he took it for a ride around the block and that was it. My thoughts are that its flooded, but since were not a mazda dealer I dont want to tell my coworkers something false and have them waste $$. Of course everyone ran to me because Im an RX freak but man Im getting sick of hearing "see this is why you should drive a Z' (I work at a Nissan Dealer) but thats off topic. What do you guys think, flooded?

Print the cranks no start tsb. See if those suggestions help. As in it might be flooded. You should check that the car has an up-to-date ECU flash.
Also talk to the tech to get a sense of what happened.
