I want to buy an RX8. I read on the forums that rotary is not a car you want for a weekend driver because you don't want to leave it alone for more than 3-4 days without starting the car?
I literally will use this for weekend only as I have a daily driver w/ 53mpg.
Is this car seriously not a weekend driver?
What's the longest you guys haven't drove your car?
Thanks.

The only issue you can experience with letting a rotary sit that you don't really risk with a piston engine is fuel puddling if you have injectors that are leaking fuel into the housing.
Plenty of people on here have it as a weekender, plenty others have it as daily.
What do you think people do when they store it for the winter? Except for Florida and Socal, that's longer than 3-4 days

Ive let mine sit for 4- weeks without starting it and it started right up when I got home to it! The problem you'll probably find is you wont want to not drive it for the 5 days in between the weekends! Thats my .02
