O2 Sensor in CAT.

Can I get a confirmation that the o2 sensor that is in the CAT is completely worthless to the performance of the car? I have an AP so the CEL would be masked if I remove it but I want to know 100% that nothing relating to the trims/performance/driveabilty are affected.

I want to put a WBO2 sensor there for a AFR gauge and I don't want to use the second bung on the Mazsport Midpipe. I also want to save the stock sensor from the abuse of my leaned out AFR.

Worthless.

Four years without, and no problems from it's loss.......

If you ever intend to replace it, tape up the female connector so it stays clean.
