observation, perhaps problem?
I've noticed recently, since the weather got warmer, that my car seems to retain heat like crazy. One day on the way out to my fiance's parents house (about 30-40 mins away), it was between 70 and 75 degrees. I left the sunroof open most of the way there but when we got to her road I closed it and set the vents to recirculate because they live on a dirt road. When we got there I left all the windows shut but parked in the shade.
I had their computer in the back because I had done some work on it and when I popped the trunk, it was INSANELY hot in the trunk. The computer was actually HOT to the touch. I didn't think much of it though because it was sitting right above the exhaust so I figured that's the reason it was so hot.
Well about 2 hours go by, we go to leave and it's now a bit cooler outside (low 60s) so I open the door and it's super hot inside the car still. When i start the car it says that it's 80 degrees outside (which I know is way wrong) but i drive for about a mile and it drops to about 65ish. The temp gauge in the cluster showed the normal temp, but if I turned the vents on just a little it would blow HOT air even on the coldest setting. I didn't turn the A/C on because it has to be pretty hot for me to use it.
Since then I've noticed that anytime it's above around 70 outside, my vents blow nothing but HOT air unless the A/C is on. It really sucks because even if I have all the windows open to stay cool the vents are still blowing hot air on me.
Sorry for the extremely long post but I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this or if this is signs a problem I should get fixed now before it gets really hot.

That's just the way it is....
But I know exactly what you mean. What I do is just fire up the a/c for a minute or 2 to chill the vents, then I put on the blowers and roll down the windows. Does the trick!

ok...i kinda figured as much since i know the rotaries do make quite a bit more heat than a piston engine. i just wanted to verify that i wasn't the only one that noticed this.
