Oil change at dealership and they went to Pennzoil

Original Turbo 'd Auto !!
This one one reason I change my own oil. I know exactlly whats going in the car.
I have heard stories from rfriend that works at dealerships that saw cars come in w/ good oil (Rp, RedLine, ect) and that oil went home with the lube tech.... Still want to take you $8 a qt oil to a dealer?
Bear in mind not all dealers are bad, just finding a honest and good one is harder to find anymore.

I'm lost as to why anyone wouldn't change their own oil - this takes me about 5-10 minutes in total, and I know what filter is used (either Mobil1 or K&N) and what oil is used (Castrol GTX 5w20, but thinking about switching to Mobil 5000).
Why even bother taking the risk with a dealership OR a jiffylube-type?
