Oil Drain Plug
Performed a search with no luck. Does anyone know what the torque spec is for the oil drain plug?
Also, remember seeing a memeber mention that he or she uses a Mobile One oil filter, part # M1-110. Can someone confirm this? Does it fit our 8?
Thanks
Al

Torque on the drain plug is typically just good and snug. As tight as you can easily make it with a standard 3/8" drive socket wrench is my normal tightening.
There was a thread on oil filters recently - I think all the various part numbers were listed. The Mobil 1 filter is IMHO overpriced for what you get - I'd go with a Purolator Pure ONE filter.

Thanks Dale. I just thought there may be a torque spec for it. Guess I'm being ****.
Yes PureOne is quite good. Just curious about Mobile 1. My personal choice will be between the two when my Mazda filters run out (2 more left).
I'll do a search on oil filters again.
Thanks
