I've often had to go to my dealer with the weight of the forum ....
I still think I haven't had the starter upgrade done even thou they say I have.....

BTW ... the dealership I bought my car from is the one Mazda NA just turfed for bad business practices...

I have a latter '05 build and never had milky oil on the dipstick. But I figured the catch can was good insurance for this and also to trap what would normally be routed to the manifold intake on this model year.

It's a simple matter of checking your starter serial number to confirm ...

edit: here's the old 'cranks won't start' TSB that had the Starter (and battery) info.
