Oil and plug change after flooding???
Ok. So my car flooded for the first time like one month ago. My bad thought it was warm but it wasn't.
Anyways, I tried the flooding procedure yet no luck. I had to leave it at the gas station over night. The next morning she started fine. Everything was great until a month later. I drove the car to a freinds about 25kms away. The car was very warm when I shut it off. Then 1 hour later she didn't start. Same thing, I had to wait until the next night to start her. Then I drove it home another 25kms, highway engione very warm. I stopped for gas and the same issue. This time I get it towed to a dealer. It sat there for two days until the dealer opened. The dealer was able to start it yet they called it a hard start. They ran a check nothing wrong. They recommended I change the plugs and oil due to flooding.
I agreed to both cause I know I'm due for plugs soon anyways. Yet is it normal to have to due this if the engine floods? Could the fact that I didn't due it contribute to another flooding?

I'm in the same situation and, among other things, might want to look at the coils. However, I checked the spark plugs when OUT of the engine, and there is a good arc present when I crank it. Is it possible to still see a spark even if the plugs are "bad" I don't want to have to take the intake and everything apart if the ignition system is fine.
For reference, they are the stock coils, and I'm up to 50K miles, but I've never had any engine problems/misfires/etc
thanks guys...
