CA is it OKAY to mix mineral oil+castrol GTX?

So.. the intro goes here.
yesterday I went to Mazda dealershop to get oil changed...
they used motorcraft 5w20... as I know it is either on of mineral or semi synthethic oil or something... and I was checking the oil dipstick this morning and they put "too" little,(I would say for rotary engine), the level was between low and high. So I started filling more oil... which is castrol GTX 5w20... and wondering that if I am doing the right thing.
So, is it okay to mix motorcraft 5w20+castrol GTX 5w20 ?

You probably have overfill now. It sounds like they did right amount. The Rx8 need to be below top or you get splash and it get's in the intake. People put catch can's etc. Read up and good luck. Read the threads on oil...

First of all, HA! this poor guy. He is at home trying to get a school loan for auto maintenance while reading every thread we ever wrote.
Second, why did no one tell him to change his own oil and simply make sure it's done right and with the correct type of oil.......?
Mr. Hotbrothers, please change your own oil. I know it sucks, but some mechanics suck worse and don't use what they say or do what they say. You bought a sports car. And not only that, you bought a rotary sports car. I am not just pulling your wankle here. This is serious stuff.

Don't call motor oil, mineral oil. They are two different things. I am assuming that you just used the wrong term for motor oil. You can mix different brands and weights of motor oil to top off the engine.
