omp injectors cap off
so any one just cap off the oil injectors with a vacuum cap?? we did it on rx7s all the time to improve oil flow through the system of the omp injector system. has any one continued this with the rx8s. as they runs the same vacuum system as the rx7s did

Only time i have ever blocked off the vacuum line for the oil metering system is after installing new lines (blocking the vacuum line pulled oil through the lines to "prime" them very quickly with great effectiveness), or when running some kind of injector cleaning agent through the oil injectors by funneling the injector cleaner into the metering system vacuum line and then blocking it with my thumb intermittently to get a mix of detergent and oil through the oil injectors.
I don't believe that long term allowing the system to function in that capacity would yield desirable results, and I want to say that some members here on this forum have done considerable research and testing on the oil system for the Renesis, and that has never been considered as a viable/practical modification to the oil metering system.

The line isn't even a true vacuum line since it connects to the accordion tube before the throttle body. You might get a small amount of pressure depression due to the Bernoulli effect but it'll be pretty small.
