other jack locations

I have a hydraulic floor jack and I used it to install my side aero flares because I thought it was easier than using the rx8 jack and I didn't want to use the hydraulic jack on the rib. Job turned out great but I am curious if the location I used was ok. I really didn't think anything of it until now. Every thread I read never mentioned this position to use to jack up the car and now I'm a little paranoid. I am guessing it was ok because it looks like its part of the frame but then again ..you never know.

heres a pic

thanks in advance

I put the stand in front of the rx-8 jack. Is that the frame rail there?
