Overheating?

When I start my RX8 up from cold and I leave it to idle in my garage once it reaches full operating temperature and I shut it off it'll start right back up, BUT when I take it for a drive anything over 15-20 minutes and then shut if off it won't start right back up why does this happen? Also if I touch the hood it would be very very hot and if I open the hood I can feel lots of heat

Thanks!

After you drive it and try to start it, does it at least crank? Does it attempt to start?

Some may not apply but nevertheless, not a bad place to start.

It does crank and attempt to start but it cranks very very slowly like it barely spins. Could this be because my seals are either very sticky or there is a lot of carbon buildup?
