HI,

From where I live, i dont have access to any Mazda dealers but only overseas. If I wanted a flash update, where can i download a PCM reflash such as the "MSP16" without having to take my car to the dealer. I would like to do this on my own and what equipment do i need, will the cobb accesport/intercepter allow me to do this ?

If the PCM flash is not available online or for download, then where is it available other than the dealor. Is it possible to open my ecu and send it without the car itself for a reflash to the dealer ?

Call Mazda Customer Service responsible for your country. They may be able to arrange a PCM update, but my guess is you will have to send the PCM to them.

 

AccessPort should be able to do that, but right now I think it supports USDM RX-8 only.

 

The PCM updates are available online for a price. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the site at the moment. The problem is getting them from your computer to the PCM.
Cobb is working on making the Accessport available worldwide.
