PCM reflashing

So i've been looking at the usage of Versatuner and its features, decided to take the plunge to get it.

My question is this, my car has a midpipe, so no cat. Naturally the CEL is on, and it is throwing the code. Does the VersaTuner software just simply turn the light off and nothing more?

So, specifically,If I disable it in versatuner, will the dealer or even a bluetooth adapter with torque on my phone, still see that code AFTER i've disabled it in Versatuner?

This isn't exactly something I can get direct clarification on.

I know a Cobb accessport can completely remove that line of code altogether. But the Versatuner doesn't exactly clarify on of it just turns the light off and the code stays present in the system, or the code is eliminated completely.

Anyone know ?

Well why don’t you ask Versatuner in the active threads that they’re actively responding in on this website? Or maybe that makes too much sense ...

I already have posted about it, in their forums actually. I'm moreso looking to hear user input/feedback for our platform here. Hence the post.

why do you think this is the place to ask rather than in the tuning forum area?
