might a PCM reset using the brake pumping method help? if his prior coils and plugs were burned up, the PCM might be having trouble adjusting back to the BHR coils?

brake pump is for resetting the E-shaft profile ...

if u want a reset, just unplug the battery, step on the brakes to drain all power, wait a minute or 2, plug it back on.
