Premix "after" ignition upgrade?

Just a quickie.
I use the Idemitsu premix and I have a BHR ignition coming very soon.
I was just wondering, because the new ignition will be burning off my fuel mixture more completely, will it be a waste of money to continue to premix after I install the ignition?
Thanks in advance,.

I dont think so. Keep in mind that the premix is primarily used to lubricate internals a bit better than the engine oil. Your combustion will be more efficient with the BHR, but I think the premix will only help further.

Cheers to the OP. I've got an order in for the BHR ignition as well, and I had no idea that this was something I could even worry about. A boon to overly fretful owners.

I really don't see how the BHR ignition and premixing would have anything to do with each other.

Just continue to premix.

Yep, I have ran the BHR kit and premixed since day one on this motor. The last time I changed my plugs (15,000 or so) they had a nice film of oil on them. Since then, I changed the fuel pump to BHR unit and I did not like how the sock looked so I ditched the Lucas UCL and I now use Idemitsu. It will be interesting to see how my plugs look the next time I change them.

Just continue to premix.

I am going to continue to premix.
I asked because the new ignition will be lighting my gas/ air/ premix more completely. Since the premix is formulated to burn off, I was just thinking that it may get burned better than before and not lubricate as good. That's all.
Thanks for the replies...
