Premix using Idemitsu and FP Plus - recommended?

Yes, I have searched the forums. Yes, I have read the entire Gas/Oil Premix thread... twice. In neither case did I come to a clear conclusion, so I wanted to ask:

Is anyone using a premix consisting of both Idemitsu and FP Plus?

Can anyone think of any cons to such an approach?

My only concern is what would happen when you mix the two and burn them in the combustion chamber on an engine with 53000 miles that has been running nothing except 10w30 or 10w40 dino.

Thoughts?

I thought that was a pretty common mixture?

I have read about some people using one or the other and sometimes both, but wanted to find out if this is the most ideal way to go.

No one knows if this is the most ideal mix, but that's what I use. Here's a 10% discount code on FP Plus: https://www.rx8club.com/group-buy-center-85/lube-control-products-group-buy-176794/

that's what i use too. 4-6 oz of idem and 2 oz of fp+

only way to do better is sohn adaptor so you don't carbon up your engine with engine oil.

you still get carbon from gasoline. in fact most of the carbon deposit came from gasoline.

Looks like I'm going to go with the consensus and use the Ide and FP. I try to stick with top tier detergent fuels from Chevron and QuikTrip.
