Or maybe Brettus could bring the girls (and I'll bring the beer). Z'land produces some of the finest examples in the world, one of whom I met in Tokyo after attending a physics conference. The turning point in the conversation ... her: so I'll spend the night with you if you can answer one question, who's on the NZ $100 bill?, me: Simple, Ernst Rutherford!. As the song goes 'Oh what a night'. First and probably last time a little physics background got me some ... . Now what were we talking about?

Love that story - good on ya !

I've really had enough of this discussion though - kinda feels like I'm in a row boat with a pea shooter up against the entire US navy .

That's the boat you've been in the whole time.
For some reason though, you thought it was a Virginia-class attack sub for a while.

It did nothing but raise the discussion on whether or not you are sane.

sanity is one hell of a discussion!!!!
Look at the belly button trip and I am in ------if the wife will understand that this is only an experiment Ya think?

MM-- my statement was in reference to words are poor communication tools. Sometimes the message can get lost in the words?

Look at this thread. Every word used in it is relavate (well almost!) , but look at the different styles on thought presentations. Meanwhile, a lot of people dont stop and think of what is really trying to be said. Meaning of words can have different interpretations and a lot of people (including me from time to time) respond to what they think has been said by just "shooting from the hip".

By the way-- my daughter physics class has started talking about "pressure versus flow' in both a closed pump system and a free open system.

I will go ahead and have an automatic defib implanted (ICD)
Trick is convincing my insurance that this is not an elective procedure

Suggest you go for the optional ethenol/viagra injection to prevent detonation at high output, and that you not give your wife access to the remote!

6 months later and I still have not seen a dyno anywhere that debunks my argument .
Would really like to see one and will be happy to concede the argument when I do .

What was your argument again? I haven't time to re-read the thread.
Also, burden of proof is on the one making the assertion.
You don't prove a negative.

MM - I know you dyno a lot of FI cars . You recently mentioned one that made something like 330 whp on just 8psi of boost . If you could post that dyno or any other that falls outside of what we commonly see here I'd be happy .

I don't keep copies of customer's dyno plots. That would be up to them.
That said, I am only interested in making them happy.

OK can't argue with that .

Interest? Sure. Useful? Absolutely not.
There isn't an individual on this site that knows how to interpret a dyno plot correctly.
