pulling out my hair already someone help...
ok here is my problem, i can take my car on a 100km drive, had have no problems with my power steering, then enxt time i pull off the driveway that stupid little steering wheel on the dash turns on and i have no power steering, its never the same, ive check the connector pins for corrosion, tension, and even ohm tested them, ive check powers and grounds, at the eps module and also at the rack, ive down a complete sweep of the steering whille checking the torque sensor to amke sure it doesnt cut out, every thing is testing good, any ideas??

There's a good chance it is the electrical connector on the wiring sub-harness. When you start the car, the system checks resistance values for the PS inputs. If they are out of range, the PS is disabled. You may find that once the car warms up you can shut it down, restart and the power steering is enabled again. There is a replacement sub-harness that supercedes the original, to correct the problem. Or you can fix it yourself. Read the entire thread at:

Yep, an example of the "graceful degradation" algorythm built into our PCM. The PS is a lower priority sub-system and as Nubo cites if the resistance value is too high it's deactivated to save power for higher priority systems.
