I want too avoid skid plates cause that just makes the car that much lower and I already have trouble going over the track that a lot of people have for their gates :/ not to mention I'd probably hit every lane reflector too lol. not that much lower haha. Running 16k spring rates all around and still rides like a dream :D

So you are dragging your car around smashing the sub-frame, and have only come on here for advice on how to smash only the sub-frame and not the oil pan. You then wonder why you sense a lack of respect for your "build". You haven't "built" anything. 16k spring rates and worrying about going over lane reflectors isn't a build its a tragedy.

If you want advice on driving around a car scraping on the sub-frame you should probably join a forum dedicated to that kind of asshattery. Maybe a VW forum.

It's being "unbuilt", scrape by scrape.

But why stop at 16k just weld in some big steel bars instead of coilovers, **** suspension travel right? Then sell your coilovers and then you will have the money to buy the mounts, or a few more oil pans.

lol i think i already stated in one of my previous posts that i already know you guys don't like my build, whether you call it a build or not. i don't wonder why you guys don't respect it. i know you guys don't, which, again, i stated in that previous post. if you haven't read it, it was a post in response to one of RIWWP's posts. in that same post, i also stated that i don't care what you think of my car. it's not yours lol. i come on this forum for assistance on the rx8 itself, and if you don't want to help me, okay. if you do, i thank you. SO mr. blackenedwings, i think you have misinterpreted the intention of this thread.

oh and btw, i'm not looking for "advice on driving around a car scraping on the sub-frame", i'm sure you're smart enough to know that i already know how to do that. and i'm sorry i don't mod my car to your liking. thank the lord you don't live by me hahah.

This is what happens when a good car falls into the wrong hands.

Yeah, looking at it from a perspective that ignores my personal opinion on the subject, you seem to be taking it rather well and that is pretty much eliminating most of the core reason that would exist to close the thread. I applaud how well you are handling the negative opinions, even if I wish you weren't so stubborn on the topic

The responses are bound to get worse though, so I'll go ahead and close it.
