Rasie windows without engine

Hi guys,
I have removed the engine with wiring harness on an RX-8, but the driver's side power windows is down. With the harness also came out the battery harness, so the simpliest solution is to remove the harness from the engine, put it into the car, put the battery in and raise the window.....but....there isnt another method? I'm a but lazy today

Wire battery power directly to the switch (or fuse block), put up window, remove wires. Done

Use caution, and common sense.

My first idea was to wire the battery on the fuse, but...where is the power window fuse? Not in the engine compartment. Is it in the car?

Wire the battery to the positive and negative terminals of the engine compartment fuse box. Please check polarity or BAD things will happen. Then roll up windows as necessary.

I have tried to power the fuse, the courtesy light on the door goes on but the windows doesn't go up and down.
The switch have a lot of wires, I cannot power anything without an electrical scheme.

Yes, I can cable the battery directly on the engine compartment fuse, I have to check where is the GND side...

The key I believe has to be in the ACC Position for the Windows to work.

Also powering the engine compartment fuse box doesn't solve nothing. The windows are under the ON position of the key if I remember correctly.
Ok...I have to open the door panel

Just remove the window switch panel and give power to the 2 wires going to the motor (PLEASE USE A INLINE FUSE TO DO THIS). Polarity one way will raise the window, switch polarity to put window down.

Maybe this is more difficult than it seems, but I would think you just need to pull off the door skin and put 12 volts to the motor leads.

Thats exactly what 1.3 liters of fury said.
Or you could pull of the panel disconnect the motor from the window slide the window up and place motor back and then its up. no chance of messing up anything electrical.
