Really need help!
Alright so this is going to be very hard to explain on here but Ill do my best. Serious problem...
Im leaking anti freeze everywhere and bad..
I installed a new reservoir today because it was cracked. Now, the hose that connects on the right of the reservoir (as you're looking into engine) isn't making a secure connection to the pipe that lays along the front of the car. Not very savvy when it comes to technical terms. The plastic piece that the hose connects to looks almost melted and has "V" shape cut out of it. It's hard to see but i can see where the anti freeze is coming from. Before it was bad i tried driving it, only sped up the process. I hate to see my Rx8 already broken considering I just bought it. Anyone help? Any mechanics out there?

Not quite to the bottom. Maybe half way. And that sucks. Is replacing the radiator something I can do myself? Not too difficult right? I obviously can't drive it at all right? Dumb question..
Any ideas where I can get a new one that would ship to APO?
Also, I just googled a few radiators and non of them show the back, do you have fans already installed or do I use the old ones?

Charles R Hill is a forum vendor here for BHR (Black Halo Racing) and he might be able to help with the APO shipping... might want to give him a PM.
He is VERY knowlegable on the products and offers phone support if needed (which I've used before... great guy).
But here are the products they offer:
http://blackhaloracing.com/products-...ngine/cooling/
Here is a DIY for replacing the radiator:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...light=radiator
And you'll reuse the fans.
I just thought of something that might work, but can't guarantee.
Stores have Blue RTV gasket maker for coolant hoses and such.
Its not made to work on plastics... so I'm not sure how it would work on that particular fitting.
But if its going to be trashed anyway... guess you could try it.
You'll need to drain the coolant, apply the RTV, and let it cure for 24hrs before filling it back with coolant.
If you go this route, you'll probably have to replace that little hose section too once you get the new radiator.
Up to you if you want to try it or not...

Just did a search for that Mishimoto radiator and found this:

You might want to search around this site some more and see if there are other complaints.

Damn that helps a lot and something to be weary of. Thanks a lot Jon. Well im looking at shelling out an extra 100$ for a Mizu one. Can't find anything bad, nor good, so im still hesitant.

Your radiator is fucked, your only choice is to replace it.
Just to name a few Radiator that will fit 100%
Koyo
Mazmart (Ron Davis)
BHR (Griffin)
Stock (duh)
Mishimoto is NOT known for quality. and Mizu is just Mishimoto's knock off, so if I were u I will avoid getting anything from Mizu.
if you have the cash to burn, I would suggest you to get something from BHR(Charles) or Mazmart(Paul).
Koyo cost about the same as Stock (and might be a bit cheaper), some people here said its worst than stock, but I never had any problems using it. even when its 101 degrees out going uphill.
but for ALL aftermarket Radiators, it is VERY important to remember to move your insulator from the side(those foam thinggy) to your new aftermarket Radiator. Failure to do so will make your Radiator completely useless (cuz air keeps escaping from the side)
if for some reason you trash your stock radiator b4 u move the foam out, you can get those foam from pretty much any hardware store for cheap, just get them and Super Glue them to the new Radiator just like stock.

DO NOT buy a Mishimoto, buy a Koyo. Much higher quality radiator.
I have them in stock and can have it overnighted for no extra charge.
http://www.assaultech.com/koyo/koyo_...5/i-35589.aspx
Only $320 shipped.
