TX Removing Dashboard To Get To AC Unit

So, I'm working on getting the AC unit out so that I can replace the evaporator and the expansion valve. I'm following this instruction: A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

I've removed everything, including the unidentified bolt above the driver's side door hinge, and the dash is loose. However, I'm concerned about the wiring. How should I go about disconnecting things? I'm not even sure what all I need to disconnect. Should I pull the dash out and look for the stuff to disconnect? Is there a way to disconnect things before pulling the dash out? Unfortunately, the instructions don't deal with electrical connections...

I think these are the things that will need to be disconnected:
  • Gauge cluster - 2 connectors
  • Stereo head unit - 2 connectors/antenna connector
  • Climate controls - 3 connectors
  • Time/Temp/Stereo display - 1 connector?
  • Passenger airbag - 1 connector?
Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! TIA

So, this task has become a freakin' nightmare. I'm ready to blow my car up. The referenced instructions suck. It gets everything loose, but it doesn't say how to actually remove the dashboard.

So, at this point I've removed the stereo, the vents, and the center dash panel. I can see the AC unit now. I also removed a flanged nut holding the cabin air cleaner thing to the firewall. It all feels loose, but it isn't pulling away. Wondering what else I need to disconnect? I got to thinking, there must be some AC fittings attached through the firewall. Those will need to be removed, right?

Man, if there is anyone who has done this, I would really appreciate some info. If there's anyone in the DFW area that would like to come help me, I'll gladly pay for the assist. I think I've hit the limit of my skills. I can't figure out what to do next and I don't have the instructions I need. I've done a lot of repair on my car, but this is making me really frustrated. Any help?
