replacement radiator hoses -- need advice
yes I've searched the vendor and DIY forums and am a bit confused....
at 42k miles we had to replace the upper radiator hose due to leak under pressure. Now at 65k it's doing it again. Saw where you can get the silicone hoses instead which (might) be more resistant to the high temps and last longer? Then the confusion comes in when trying to decide what to order. I thought we just an upper and lower; now I'm seeing 3-piece kits and even 6-piece kits. Not sure what to buy. I don't do any track time or racing - just daily driver so I don't want to spend extra money unnecessarily.
any advice? and where is best place to get them from? I need to order/buy quick since I'm having the radiator light come on about once a week and keep topping it off.
thanks

cumbustion leak?
Check for a cooling system combustion pressure leak.
Use a radiator pressure checker, idle and then slightly rev the engine, watch the pressure gauge for a steady climb in pressure.
If combustion is leaking into the coolant, you need an engine, not a radiator hose.
