Revving=engine coolant light on
when i rev my engine my engine coolant light will come one after about the 2nd time i bounce from 6 to 8rpm and will stay on untill i let off the gas.
I just got it serviced today and i take it engine coolant is level is in limits. i will check myself in the morning but i am almost sure its not low.
but also my coolent light does not come on as i give it gas while in gear in 1 and 2 gear.
but if this is relevent i have had the evngine light come on with i would hit high90 to 100ish on a hot day. and that also went off as i came off the gas.
any help or if i need more info ask.
thanks

your coolant isnt low. the coolant level sensor is dying, it'll get worse. it cant be repaired or replaced by itself, its molded into the tank. search for threads on low coolant light.... theres a simple way to get rid of the light...

You know I had this exact same issue. I the light wouldn't stay on just flash at certain high revs. I added some coolant and a bottle of water wetter. The coolant light never flashed again.
Now my circumstances may have been different than yours. Your senser may very well be dying, take it as food for thought.

Replace new coolant, water level about 1"above the max level.
Coolant level sensor is actually a reed switch with magnetic float. So far never heard anything about the magnet fell off or the glass protected reed switch damage.
For more details on reed switch, please google.

Not in this case and not in a lot of cases. My case was almost identical, my coolant level was above normal and my light would still flash at different rpm's. I just keep an eye on my fluid level and not worry about it too much.

This just happened to me on the way home form sevenstock, 200 miles from LA and 200 miles from SF on the I-5. Was driving spiritedly and my coolant level light went on. Temp gauge stayed stable. It went off by itself after a minute. When I pulled over, coolant level was fine (a bit on the low side, but within the markings) and it didn't boil over either.
Scared the bejesus out of me though. I'll be taking it into the dealer to get it looked at. My money is on the sensor.

There is a restrictor in the line from the pump to the reservoir - it is quite possible that even with the level within normal limits that reving the motor will pressurise the system temporarily expanding all the hoses and taking the level below the reed switch .
Like some of the others said - try it with the a little more water in it and see if it goes away .
