CA Running 3 spark plugs fail?

I was going to change out the ignition coils and spark plug, and i noticed as soon as i removed the drivers side wheel, that one of the spark plug wire was disconnected from the spark plug o.O... I've been running almost 3 months worth of driving with 3 spark plugs, epic fail. Car was used and i was told they changed out the spark plug wires, my question is could this cause issues in the near future?... on a side note, Just finished installing syncro saver, clutch bracket from race roots, and Yukon GM ignition coils from alz0rz. From what i hear, and feel the car starts wayyy faster, like 1-2 secs it starts and the squeak sound when i start is also gone. I also notice there's no more light thumping when the car idles, maybe cause by the disconnected spark plug. I haven't really tested my car out on the road but so far i'm happy with the result, tomorrow i'll test drive my car. oh my old coils had those infamous white spots and my spark plugs look like ****... 54000 miles probably wasn't changed, well over due.

Dunno a lot about it but I would suspect that if it is a trailing plug it really wouldn't matter much at all.

I have heard of this. I had a broken plug (shop said ) and they also said that the sets were switched. It eventually led to my car not starting but i went several weeks like this.

Judging from the plugs' appearance, you were at least getting spark from the remaining trailing plug on that rotor. The disconnected plug doesn't look too terrible, considering it wasn't firing at all. So I'd be hopeful that the situation wasn't bad enough to overload the catalytic converter. You were probably down on power on that rotor, which maybe caused some asymmetric thrust and extra bearing stress. But if the driveability was good enough to not stop you from driving it, then I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah I actually had this exact same problem; after I got my plugs changed at a Mazda service center I did NOT check their work like I usually do. Two months later I dropped in the BHR Ignition Coils and new plug wires... guess what I found? Disconnected plug wire on my T2 plug. I reattached and dropped in all of the new stuff and noticed my gas mileage and power picked backed up. I noticed something was a little off when it was disconnected, it didn't seem like a big deal so I didn't really look into it.

I have driven about eight thousand miles since then and I have noticed no lingering problems other than the fact I need to replace my stupid started (I have an '04; go figure). You should be good.
