mix a gallon or so of race fuel to the highest octane pump gas you have access to and spend some time going on a spirited drive redlining it.

"Redline" and "rev limit" are usually used interchangably on the forums, although they are indeed 2 different things.
"redline" is actually a range from about 8,500 rpm to 9,000rpm, as visually indicated. Actual RPM is a bit different than what is indicated on the tach though.
"rev limit" is where the ECU actually cuts in, and is in theory 9,000rpm. You will get lots of discussion and debating about whether or not it is actually at 9,000rpm.
You can generally assume that whomever is using one of the terms is probably just referring to "when it starts beeping", which is actually just a bit sound of "redline"
