Rx8 tweaking

Rx8 tweaking
Hello,
I heard that Mazda had to tweak the engine on the Rx8 right before release, so that the power output was lowered to about 230hp instead of 260. This aparently was the cause for the flushing problems as well.
I figured since the Rx8 has been out for a while now, that some kind of tweak to get it back to stock (260hp) should exist, and that this hopefully would fix the flushing as well.
Im new to the forum and have not been into Rx8's for very long, so forvige me if im wrong.
