houstonrx8er 04-19-2012 07:36 AM

I havent seen hoss so can you ask him if its ok if I borrow his RB ones?

counterweight work at both ends of the rotating assembly to balance each other out ...

i dunno why act said their counterweight works better than stock mazda tho, i dont have a machine to test them out.

houstonrx8er 04-19-2012 08:55 AM

Anyone have any feedback on the throttle body coolant bypass diy?

also, What about if I mount the windshield washer pump vertically in the new reservoir I am making?....shouldn’t be a problem right?

replacing your grill---why? Just open the oem one up from the rear using a grinder. The front of it (what matters) will look flawless.

9krpmrx8 04-19-2012 09:32 AM

I would buy a sheet from the grill guy. he has many types and it comes nicely powder coated. That is what Jcabbie and I used on his Mazdatrix bumper.

houstonrx8er 04-19-2012 09:33 AM

I meant oil cooler grills but I wonder how that would look

I was going to go with .047wire with .203 opening

it looks like it only comes with round holes...not sure if that is what I want

houstonrx8er 04-19-2012 09:40 AM

I like the pre powercoated but I like the look of mesh more.

lets see what the place I am looking prices me for a 12"x12" peice

9krpmrx8 04-19-2012 09:41 AM

Hmmm, I guess they got rid of the diamond cut stuff, that is what we used on Jcabbies.

If it is cheaper for a big piece and you get enough extra to replace the fake plastic grill in the rear bumper, I will buy it off you.

Yea it leaks sometimes... when you do it, and sometimes after many miles when you don't do it. The mod itself doesn'treally do anything.

its a good thing to do on 1990-1998 300zx's though LOL.

houstonrx8er 04-19-2012 09:06 PM

why the hell would you run hot coolant through there anyway?

wait I remember reading about when it is cold and condensation and such.

houstonrx8er 04-20-2012 10:43 PM

you get the syncro saver for that SII tranny? Thats IMO makes the SII tranny with the sII shifter a perfect combo.
I am looking for a 4:77 diff though--not that I have to have it--just like the extra grunt it will give.
you never have enough grunt.
