Safe to drive without Barometric sensor?
Hi.
I just recently had an issue where my car would stall(hesitation) on the highway with no cel, then i got it towed to the dealer. They won't have time to check it for almost two weeks. Symptoms at idle, low rpm(750), rough idle, would stall if accelerator was pushed to fast.
After watching this
,
i decided to disconnect the barometric sensor and voila, now it idles at around 900rpm, does not stall, idle is good, LTFT at 0, MAF 6,6g/s. Can i assume the issue is the barometric sensor and would it be safe to drive until i get a new one?

you CAN do it, but as mentioned the baro sensor does assist the PCM in adjusting AFR and the car definitely won't be running right without it. (might seem to be at default settings but it's not optimal)
did you locate a replacement yet?
