SEAFOAM (definate answer please)
Oh yes, I have searched, read....
Will someone PLEASE tell me the correct steps to use seafoam to clean
my engine from Throttle body back. I read a LOT in the forums and have only come out confused. My 8 is my baby and I don't want to do this wrong and mess it up.
Thanks in advance.

Those do the quickest job or....I have added it to a half or quarter tank of gas. Then ring it out AFTER a good warm up. Some times you'll have to do this twice if you have a big build up.

Nope just means your engine was pretty carbon free. SARX has done it during our mod days and a couple of cars only had a little or no smoke.

^ okay, let me re phrase that. It means you didn't have an excess of carbon build up? I have seen cars with similar mileage smoke for a while and I have seen others hardly smoke at all
Of course we used the Zoom Zoom cleaner and dealer method but I am guessing the results are the same.

yea i used the zoom cleaner and the procedure that was suggested by finishline , when i did it my 8 had about 40k on it, and I'm pretty sure, to the best of my knowledge lols, it had never gotton foamed before I did it...but thanks =) ... im at 43k now, when should i do it again?

I have to do it once or twice a year. I do it when I know my car is in good tune(meaning plugs, coils, wires, etc are in good shape) but it feel just a little sluggish. I run a can or two through it and enjoy my favorite drives that makes the engine pull hard in the hi revs. Then it's back smooth and responsive...

there is no right way to do it, there are multiple ways.
it can be useful/helpful, but it isnt necessary. a lot of what it does can be achieved via other means.
smoke from the exhaust isnt a sign, or lack of, for carbon buildup. You can run seafoam through a brand new motor and it will smoke just the same, its a byproduct of putting that stuff through the motor.
