Shel Helix Ultra 5W40 mixed with Dexelia?
The oil-level in my Renesis is currently very low. My car is scheduled for service on tuesday, but 'm a bit worried driving around until tuesday as it is now. Can it hurt topping it with 3-4dl Helix ultra 5W40? Last service, my car was filled up with Mazda Dexelia 5W30..
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'm glad you brought this up because I noticed in the maintenance manual that the following oils were listed under engine technical data as recommended:
All markets except Europe: 40, 30, 20, 20W-20, 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, 20W-40, 15W-40, 20W-50, 15W-50, 5W-20, 5W-30 (Although the recommended weight for US market is 5W-20).
Europe: 5W-30, 10W-30, Mazda Genuine Dexelia
Basically, it's saying you can use just about anything (except in Europe for some reason). Note the straight 20, 30, and 40 weights(?). Technically, 5W-40 is not on the list.
Maybe someone can comment on this.
