shift **** question?
Have a quick question, what is the diameter on the stock shift stick? I want to buy this Momo shift **** and it says it will fit anything up to 15mm. Any quick input would be great
Thanks

Quick input ready:
I installed a MOMO shift **** myself, and it will fit the stock shift stick.
You will infact need one of the rubber washers provided (n2) since the stock shift is roughly 10mm thick. You will also need the 3 grub screws provided.
Caveat: I decided not to fit the grub screw cover bit, since it made it difficult to get a proper fit. ALso remember to check the grub screws once a month for tightness.
The one I purchased is the MOMO Race Airleather which fits nicely in my palm and also fits with the interior trim. Unfortunately the MOMO bit at the top came off and got lost in the car, so I recommend you detach it and glue it on yourself.
The stock **** weighs 350 grams. The MOMO is less than 100 grams. You will feel more vibration through the stick, but that will also give better feedback.

Kind of a shame too because a good place to get them, as well as custom engraving, was here:

You still might want to check that one out if you want engraving; he might still have some in stock.
A nice thing about the VooDoo ***** is they fit perfectly on the RX-8. The threads match and you just screw it on. No grub screws or loose ***** to fiddle with.
